HELLO AND WELCOME

My name is Deborah

I'm passionate about helping healthcare professionals develop the confidence and capability to lead positive change in practice.

As a University Lecturer specialising in Healthcare Leadership, Quality Improvement and Change Management, I have a particular interest in supporting practitioners to lead evidence-informed service improvements that create lasting impact.

My teaching focuses on building confidence in crafting our leadership practice, strengthening team effectiveness, engaging stakeholders and translating ideas into sustainable improvements. I help learners understand the complete improvement journey, from identifying and diagnosing service challenges to developing improvement strategies, implementing change, evaluating outcomes and sustaining success.

A particular area of interest is helping healthcare professionals understand how people, processes and projects work together to drive meaningful organisational change and improve patient care.
